Hey, just wanted to reply back to you re:the comment you left on my blog, rawfoodnerd. Thank you muchly for your kind words! I was very lean growing up, but around 10th grade I started to eat like crap- going out to dinner w. Friends a lot at places where I was eating lots of pizza, French fries, fast food. And that's when I started to put on some weight. However, nothing compared to the weight I gained in fat from following a high protein Atkins/paleo diet. I gained about 15-20 lbs, was binging, got horribly ill. Now, as you can see from my blog I follow a high carb high fruit mostly raw (sometimes I eat cooked carbs like potatoes) vegan lifestyle and that has made me naturally lean again. I never have to count calories as a means of restriction, but only to make sure I'm getting enough. This way of eating has helped me to accept my body and move beyond my very set ways of disordered eating and skewed body image as a result. It's incredibly freeing! Have a magnificent day!
